Aluminium is infinitely recyclable
Re-melting used aluminium saves up to 95% of the energy and 97% of the water needed to produce the primary product.

That’s why we’re committed to sending all your used foils, colour tubes and cans right back to your salon in the form of new and shiny (and completely recycled) products!
Metal is the most valuable material we recycle, and thanks to the commitment of our members, we’ve been able to donate these proceeds to produce meals for those in need.

Hair Clippings & Ponytails
Hair is one of the most underestimated renewable resources out there. That’s why we love our friends at Sustainable Salons, they are constantly doing the research and developed of new ways to use recycled hair. Changing the way the world views, and uses, hair clippings!

Your new look could mean a new life for someone in need. Donated ponytails directly sent to wigmakers and to charitable organisations such as Variety and the Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation (AAAF) to be made into charitable wigs or to fund life-changing programs.

Turning Waste Into Water
Hair Colour and product residue from your services is collected from our salon and can be neutralised and reused as recycled water!
Instead of all these products being rinsed down the sink, we help give them a second life by neutralising them to be reused as recycled water. This also means we can better conserve our natural water supplies when a high-purity product is not needed.

Plastics
We give salon plastics a meaningful second life through innovative recycling and up cycling initiatives.

With the salon industry's heavy use of plastics, a real impact can (and has) been made by recycling a huge amount of plastic. Sustainable salons have collaborated with awesome organisations like Dresden Vision and Defy Design to help us in this mission, with some super cool products to show for it!
